Back in Beijing

After a few flights and an endless succession of timezones, I am finally back in Beijing. My trip back to the US was different than I expected it to be, but in the same respect was a success. While there were some problems I did not foresee, including four feet of snow in Pennsylvania and some issues in Missouri, it helped me to reaffirm my reasons for coming to and staying in the People's Republic of China. The best roommate in the world, Geoff, picked me up at the airport and has been helping me unpack lately. I missed the guy as well as the rest of the staff here and I look forward with renewed vigor to the upcoming March session.
